The Labyrinth
From the Labyrinth website "Labyrinth is an interactive installation for spiritual journeys. It's for anyone who wants a break from surfing the surface of culture to contemplate the deeper things of life.
Labyrinth reshapes a 12th-century ritual for the 21st century. Its maze-like path takes you on a symbolic journey, creates space to unwind and think - in particular about our relationships with ourselves, one another, our planet and God.
Designed for young and old alike, it provides a mixture of rituals and visuals, of contemplative words and contemporary ambient music, of symbols and media to help guide the spiritual traveller.
Labyrinths were a feature of many medieval cathedrals - one of the best remaining examples is found in Chartres Cathedral in northern France. Unlike a maze they have only one path - there are no dead ends. People walk the labyrinth slowly, as an aid to contemplative prayer and reflection, as a spiritual exercise, or as a form of pilgrimage.
This contemporary version includes music, meditations, art, media and symbolic activities at intervals along the path. Participants walk the Labyrinth with a CD player and headphones, in their own relaxing soundworld, at their own pace. Each track on the CD contains meditations, instructions and music relating to a part of the labyrinth." -- http://www.labyrinth.org.uk
During the four hours that the Labyrinth was open, we managed to take some pictures. Jordon Cooper (http://www.jordoncooper.com) took the first 14 pictures posted here with his Kodak Easyshare camera. Amanda Johnson was also taking some pictures and captured the feel of the event well (as she usually does). The rest of the pictures are hers.

Sunday, September 28th at the Bassment
These are Amanda Johnson's photos from the September 28th Worship Freehouse. The theme that night was the Signal from God vs the Noise that surrounds us all. Todd Peters led worship and it was a pretty cool ambient worship experience. It should be noted that Todd led worship with a broken knuckle. He is tougher than your average worship leader

Worship Freehouse :: June 1. 2003
Amanda Johnson took these pictures while we were down at the Freehouse on June 1st, 2003. Just posting them here now. We had a great night. Todd and Mike lead worship, Jordon, Leighton, and Gloria did some teaching. Everyone ate a lot of nachos.

Hanging out at the Black Duck with the Worship Freehouse gang. The Black Duck takes Canadian Tire money at par! There were about 15 of us hanging out, kicking back, and having a good time.
